Local procedure: Pimpri-Chinchwad police zones and courts

Pimpri-Chinchwad has its own police commissionerate, separate from Pune City Police. Since the December 2025 reorganisation it has four zones and 25 police stations, including a Cyber Police Station. Zone I covers Nigdi, Chinchwad, Pimpri, Sant Tukaramnagar, Dapodi and Sangvi. Zone II covers Hinjewadi, Bavdhan, Ravet, Wakad and Kalewadi. Zone III covers the Bhosari, Dighi, Chakan and Alandi stations, and Zone IV covers the Talegaon, Dehu Road, Shirgaon and Mahalunge stations.

The court depends on the police station. Under the Pune District Court's 2023 allocation, cases from Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Chikhali, Bhosari and Sangvi go to the Pimpri-Chinchwad court, which functions temporarily at Nehrunagar. Dighi cases go to the Cantonment Court at Khadki, Dehu Road, Ravet and Talegaon cases to the Vadgaon Maval courts, and Chakan and Alandi cases to Khed. Hinjewadi cases have been listed at Pune. An Additional Sessions court for Pimpri-Chinchwad was established in January 2026. Until its jurisdiction is settled, check whether sessions matters are listed there or at Shivajinagar.
